Hump Day...

So we are halfway through the week, for some Wednesday is the best day of the week, for other it's just another day on the calendar. I look at Wednesday a couple ways, for me personally it's the 2nd of my long days for the week, on Tuesday's and Wednesdays I work from 8am-midnight doing a couple jobs, so it's a sign that the end is near and the weekend is close. Wednesday is also the day of the week where you can see the weekend coming close, but you have to make sure you stick to that diet and finish out the week strong, it may be the hardest day for eating.

Yesterday I tried a couple things differently, eating chicken and eggs for breakfast (along with a venti iced coffee sweetened with cream from Starbucks), chicken and a sweet potato for lunch, and a Green Goddess salad with chicken for dinner from Panera. I'm starting to track what I am eating and putting into my body using the MyFitnessPal app, which is new for me, it's something I had tried before but never really got into the swing of tracking my calories because I didn't really care most of the time what I put in my body. Since I actually care now and have some people to help me stay accountable I truly believe that this is going to be a game changer for me trying to lose weight in the long run. I just want to be healthy, and I hope if you are reading this right now, you want the same thing.

Today is a new day, continue to stick with that diet and watch what you put into your body. It will have an affect on how things go down the road. The more you do it the easier it will get, sometimes you have to resist temptation to make the ultimate goal pay off. It's a day by day journey but in the end it will be worth it, the results will pay off.
