A Mile (1/2) a Day - Day 31

Day 31

So today it started, the next progression in my Mile a Day journey. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to go further than 30 days, but over the last month I've learned a lot about myself and what I can do if I just try and do it. So like I've said previously, I'm doing this for the foreseeable future. Today's run was a good one, Katie was able to run with me again and we went to Oak Grove Lake and ran the first 1.25 miles that I have to run each day for the next 15 days. I love going to different places because it is a little better than just waking up and running around the block, makes things a lot better. Even though neither Katie or I really love to run, I am so thankful that she is willing to run with me from time to time, because it truly does make such a huge difference. And sometimes, we can be silly and hop on the swing set to take a picture after our run. But the weather wasn't as bad as it has been and I felt really comfortable with the first day of my new distance. Excited to see how the remained of the 15 days and month play out!

What did I listen to? Imagine Dragons Pandora Station

Verse of the Day: Mark 3:24-26, "'If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rebels against himself and is divided, he cannot stand but is finished!'"

Today's done, and I'm excited to continue this journey with all of you! And I think I'm going to need to invest in a new pair of running shoes? Any suggestions? Comment below!
