A Mile a Day - Day 29

Day 29 (Make sure to check out video below)

I seriously cannot believe that tomorrow will be the final day I run a mile every day. Tomorrows blog post will be a little longer and will reflect mainly on the past 30 days and how I have changed and how I am going to be changing things moving forward. As you all know I will be increasing the distance .25 miles every 15 days from now until whenever I feel like stopping. So make sure to stay tuned for that. As for today's run, I love being able to run with someone and a few times over the past 29 runs I've been fortunate enough to have Katie my incredibly amazing girlfriend by my side to run with me. Today we both felt a little off. I need to know from everyone out there, if you have ever had a run where you just felt like your legs were bricks the entire time. From the very beginning of the run to the end we both felt like our legs were just so heavy and it was so strange. Not only were our legs heavy, but the sun was shining and it was HOT HOT HOT! I know it's summer, and I know since we didn't run until a little later in the morning, we were going to run into a little heat, but today was a little bit too much heat if you ask me. I guess thats one of the things about doing a running challenge in the middle of the summer, but Day 29 has been completed and I cannot wait for my "FINAL" mile run tomorrow!

What did I listen to? Jock Jams Pandora Radio

Verse of the Day: Mark 1:15, "'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe in the good news!'"

One more run tomorrow to finish off A Mile a Day for a month. But then things start picking up, its when things start getting harder, and when I start becoming stronger!
