Day 38 - "Too Sweet"

This morning was a roller coaster of thoughts as I woke up at 6:30 to see what time it was on my phone. I had a rough workout last night with Ben and Ryan and honestly my legs were feeling a lot less than spectacular all night last night and really when I woke up this morning. So I figured, I would sleep in a little bit, then wake up and see how my legs were feeling and go for a run. Little did I know, that sleeping in a little would only mean that I sleep until 6:30, only 30 minutes more than I normally sleep. I laid in bed and wondered to myself, do I want to try and fall back asleep or do I want to just get up and run, "Maybe my legs will feel better once I do that". Well I decided of course to wake up and drive to the stadium and do 5 laps (or 1.25 miles). Once I got started and loosened up I felt great and it really felt like one of the best runs I've ever had at a track in my life. Just cruising along and listening to some talk radio, I was loving being there and being able to feel comfortable with running on the track, something that has plagued my thoughts so often. But, it's done and another day is in the books. Can you believe I've already ran 40 miles in the past 38 days? Sometimes I have to sit down and think about why I'm doing this, it's because it's helping me be healthier and helping the way I live.

What did I listen to? Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM 93 (Yesterday's show)

Verse of the Day: Mark 10:27, "Looking at them, Jesus said, 'With men it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.'"
