Day 41 - Do I really have to wake up?

Today's run was actually a really good one. I did the same route as yesterday, and honestly thought I was going to be bored and wasn't really motivated to get things moving. But I actually think today was one of my best and fastest 1.25mile runs so far. Which is good because in a few days that 1.25 miles becomes 1.5 miles. I started out slow, which was my plan and slowly increased by stride and my pace. I loved running today because there has been so much going on the past 24 hours that running helps distract me from all of it. It's important to know what is going on, but it's also important to make your mind and your body do millions of other things so you don't have to dwell on the acts that may anger or sadden you. I went out for today's run and really didn't want to get it done, I figured I'd be home later tonight and I could knock it out then. But it wouldn't be the same and I can guarantee you I wouldn't feel as good as I do now!

What did I listen to? Thunderstruck Radio on Pandora.

Passage of the Day (from my Devo): God cannot do something through us if He is not doing something in us. If we are not careful, we can get so busy doing good things that we miss out on the best thing. "If the devil can't make you bad, he will make you busy."

Thanks for checking in, it was a fun day to run. Let's do it again tomorrow!
