Day 46 - I'm bakin' like a toasted cheese-it!

So I know I've said on previous days, that there have been runs that have been the worst ever. Well, it's going to take a lot for me to say that on any other run after today. I don't know what it was about today's run that made it so awful, I went to the track (which was probably my first mistake) and I had to run 6 laps, because it was my first run of 1.5 miles. I think I went into today's run really having a negative feeling about the run itself. The past few days I've said multiple times how nervous I was about going up in distance and how much I was NOT looking forward to running long distances and i think that is truly what got the best of me in the end. After the first mile when I had two more laps remaining, I almost stopped and left. It was the closest to stopping this running everyday challenge that I've had in the past 46 days. I say that because this hasn't been easy for me. I do HATE running with a passion, I don't know if I will ever get to a point where I actually enjoy the act of running. But I LOVE the feeling after it's done. I love the satisfaction I have after I complete a run for the 46th day in a row, knowing just how hard I've worked and how tough it truly has been. That's what makes it worth it, and that's what makes me know that I'm going to keep doing it. I don't have a goal to shoot for anymore. I'm just going until I don't want to anymore, and I'm okay with that. Today's run was the worst, but it's done and tomorrow's run will be happening in the evening. So we'll see how it goes!

What did I listen to? Thunderstruck Radio

Verse of the Day - Luke 2: 13,14 "Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people He favors!"

Day 46 is in the books, and while it may have been the worst run I've had so far, I'm ready to attack day 47 with a vengeance and make it the best I've had so far! Thank you for checking in, we'll do it again tomorrow night!
