Day 55 - And You Thought I Forgot...

Day 55 is in the books and let me tell something to you! It was amazing! If you have been following along, whether on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or just right here on the blog, you have realized by now that great runs are few and far between. I know I haven't posted in a few days (and I'm sorry about that) but you know when life gets going full speed, it's hard to stop. Anyway, between my last post and this post, I've bought a new pair of running shoes (Nike LunarGlide 9's) and the past couple runs have been great. Yesterday morning I got up early to run since I had the Fit Kid Classic the rest of the day, and only ran a mile in my new shoes. Today I woke up, went to church, then went to work for 8 hours, but got home just in time to run 1.6 miles! My furthest run so far, and it felt really awesome. I want to say it took me just under 16 minutes, which I was extremely happy about, and the best part about all that is, NO PAIN! My calf has been bothering me recently, but Katie's sister Audrey (Shoutout to her) gave me a calf massage a few days back, and as much as it hurt during (the worst pain ever), and as much as it hurt the couple days after, it feels much better today and I'm glad she was able to help. I don't know if it was her, or the new running shoes, but whatever it was it is working and I'm feeling great! Less than two weeks until I head West to Colorado for the weekend, and I am feeling great! 55 Days in a Row, should I go for Triple Digits, comment below if you think so. But for now, lets focus on Day 56!

What did I listen to? These Tracks in Order: What does the Fox Say?, GreenLight, WWE: Catch Your Breath, WWE: The Rising Sun

Verse of the Day: I'm currently reading Luke, and today's scripture is from Luke 11, but I want to encourage all of you to read the entire chapter, its packed with incredible passages.

Luke 11:33-36, "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you."

We'll talk to you tomorrow!

- Robbie
