Day 58 - Breathe Easy My Friend

I woke up this morning thinking that today's run would be one for the ages, and boy was I wrong. I walked out the door and automatically was filled with the smell of pollen and just that air that you know it's going to be a long run. Not in terms of distance, but just in terms of the way I was going to feel along the way. It rained here in Hampton Roads pretty much the entire day yesterday, so I had an idea it was going to be humid outside but I didn't think the air would be as thick as it ended up being. As you can see from my picture, I had on a long sleeve shirt, and I actually had on a beanie as well. Why you ask? Well I checked my phone and it said it was 65 degrees outside. It may have been 65 but it felt like it was 80, which is never a good thing. But nonetheless I went and got the run in and I am certainly glad I did. I haven't been feeling 100% recently, so I don't think that helped during today's run, it was hard to breathe throughout the entire thing but I was able to push through and get it done! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

What did I listen to? Pretty Much Every 90's,00's group music (Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Spice Girls, etc.)

Verse of the Day: Luke 13:18-19, "He said therefore, 'What is the kingdom of God like, and what can I compare it to? It's like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the sky nested in its branches.'"

Make sure you head over to yesterday blog and check out our Guest Blogger. Today wasn't the best run, but they all can't be the best run! See you tomorrow!
